Purple Rain have a dark blue skin and a beautiful marbled white & purple flesh. This pattern is caused by the weather they have experienced over the growing season. A fairly waxy variety that retain their colour when cooked (for best results it is best to keep the skin). They are perfect boiled or steamed and add colour to your dish!
